Hi,
it may be that you once click on an URL that say you can sign in to check “Who has blocked you in MSN Messenger” and you proceed to sign in with your Legimate MSN login.
From the main window Tools > Privacy. In the "Set privacy for" drop-down select your MSN account, and choose "Allow only the users on my buddy list".
this should help.

Should be a virus scan your msn folder and if you find it... delete it.
