Some times HDD is not detected

Dear Sir
I have an old PC nearly 7 years old . Recently when i turn on it i could see that Hard disk is not detected . I thought that HDD is faulty . So i changed HDD . But after the change of HDD two or three times it worked properly. Again shows the same message . Why this problem occurs. please help me

Double check the cable connections for the HD. Replace if you have a spare cable. Otherwise, your motherboard may be failing.

Only one way - buy a new motherboard
