Hello,

My 32 GB Kingston pen drive is giving me problems. when I insert it to my pc it recognizes it but when I try to open its gives me this message "F:\ is not accessible. Incorrect function"
The data in this is very important, please someone give me a solution to retrieve my data.

These type of problems are being noticed in the fake pen drives. Is your pen

drive genuine ?

You should have a serial number at the USB Tip as shown in the below

image.

Thanks. I have checked my pen drive & its genuine with its number on the drive. I have been using this for 1+ yrs now.

Hello,
Try this 1
Click on Start --> Run --> Type devmgmt.msc and press Enter.
"Device Manager" will be opened. Now plug your pen drive.
Expand "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" by double-clicking on it or by clicking on the "+". Now right-click on the "USB Mass Storage Device" --> Select "Uninstall".
After uninstallation, unplug your pen drive and plug it back after a minute.
