My Gateway Windows HD 1080p DVD driver won't read any discs.

Hello,

I have an older computer, when I try to put in a DVD, PC game, CD, or any disc it does nothing and when I click the DVD/ROM in My Computer it opens the try and says 'Please insert disc' as if there was not anything in it already. I've tried numerous things to repair it, but nothing has worked. Does anyone have anything so I can get this fixed??

Hello,

Try this 1

1) Try cleaning the drive lens. Click on the below link and follow the instructions.

2) If the problem still exists then click on the below hyperlink "Fix" and follow

the instructions.

Fix

3) Update the firmware.
