Hello,

Sorry, for asking the same question. The files in my flash drive also turned into shortcuts but the different case is that I accidentally deleted the shortcuts. What should I do? I would really appreciate if you could help. Thanks!!! ^_^

Hello,

Try this 1

The shortcut files doesn't contain any information. All your files will be in hidden

and it just shows you its shortcuts. Follow all the steps given below

1) Click on the below link and download the file "AutorunExterminator"

https://ccm.net/downloads/security-and-maintenance/5911-autorun-exterminator/

[Note : Make sure Dot Net Framework is installed in your PC to install the

"AutorunExterminator" OR

Click on the below link and download the Dot Net Framework

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=25150

Extract it --> Double-click on "AutorunExterminator" --> Plug your flash drive now.

This will remove the autorun.inf files from your flash drive and also from drives.

2) Click on Start --> In search bar, type cmd. When the command prompt option

appears in the search list, right-click on it and select the option "Run as

administrator". Here I assume your drive letter as G:

Enter this command.

attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.*

You can copy the above command --> Right-click in the Command Prompt and

paste it.

Note : Replace the letter g with your flash drive letter where the files are hidden.

Now look for your files.

3) After that, download the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from the below link

https://ccm.net/downloads/security-and-maintenance/4621-malwarebytes-anti-malware/

Update it --> Perform "Full Scan"

Good Luck
