Gateway factory restore [Solved]

Hello,
I have been trying to do a factory restore and I don't have that much time online, so any answers would be greatly appreciated.
I have a windows 7 gateway laptop and something happened to it. Before I take my laptop to best buy, I wanted to see if restoring my computer would fix the problem. I have already tried to do a system restore, but that gives me an error message when it is finished. When I try to do a factory restore from gateway recovery management, I get this message:
Hard drive configuration is not set to factory default. Restore aborted.
Is there any other way to restore my laptop to factory settings?

Thank you for giving me something new to try jack, but when I tried that, I got to the system recovery options window and the Recovery manager option was not there. Does anyone know why it would be missing?

I just talked to gateway online chat, and they said that I would need to purchase recovery discs. Anyway, thanks for your help to anyone that posted.
