Blocked Hotmail Account [Solved/Closed]

Hello,
basically my hotmail account was blocked and a verification code was sent to an alternative email address which i cant remember my password or security question answer for and i have tried the customer support option but it still doesnt let me access my alternative email address. Any useful tips would be helpful, thank you

Try this 1

Go to www.hotmail.com --> Click on "Can't access your account?" --> Select

"I forgot my password" --> Click on "Reset your password" --> Enter your

blocked hotmail ID --> Enter the given Captcha --> Select "Customer support" -->

Then below that you will be getting an option "Customer support", click on it -->

Enter your working E-mail ID and follow the instructions.

Note : No Need of filling "Billing Information"

Hi just been reading wot 2 do above,when its says its sending me a code I don't know the Email address ?it is not mine,wen I click send code it say 'sending code' then asks me 2 put the code in the box but don't have a code?I have set up a new Email address but thr is no option 2 enter it?its jus sending me back 2 the so called simple walk you throgh gide.can any one help me please as I need my Email open desperatly now,thanks

I was able to enter my email - and password - thats where it informed me my account had been blocked and provided me steps to correct the issue..... but they wanted to send me a code to fix the issue... but it was to the same email that had been blocked!! and no way to change it......
So what I am I to do now

I had a similar issie in that the email address they wanted to send the code to no longer existed. If you follow the steps above then you should be able to log back into your hotmail account without any issues.
My problem now is being able to delete the non-existant email address which they aren't allowing me to do without removing all my security data. Not the most helpful.

You must wait 24 hours. Before you try again, delete all of temporary files and cookies.

Hi, I have a slightly different problem. The alternate email I gave up was spelled wrong. I tried the method above, but I have to confirm the new alternate email, and msn insists on sending the confirmation link to the wrongly spelled alternate email.

I tried the above.... as I too have been BLOCKED due to my account being compremised.
Unfortunately, my alternate email address is an old work email of which I do not work there anymore. I am at a loss without ALL MY CONTACTS and PHOTOS!

i cant find a customers support link. they just direct me to a page to fill in my information to verify it's my account(the page with the billing info etc) and then they say i havent filled in sufficient info for them to verify that the account's mine! how do i proceed from here?? please help! thanks

Here is how you might solve the issue. This is the very last resort that worked for many others.

Open a brand new MSN/Hotmail account. On the main page, top right corner you will see a link "Ask a question", click on it and it will take you to a forum. Explain the situation in detail. A Hotmail moderator should give you the solution within 24 to 48 hours.

Same here... I tried everything... First option : get a code. Can't get one. Second option : reset your password. I did and it doesn't work. Third option : when I clicked on 'Recover my account' , the answer I got was : 'We cannot show you this page'.... And then, on top of everything, I tried to log in my account and I got this message : "you have reached the limit for number of attempts.... You can try again later'.... but i cannot try again because I have reached the limit for number of attempts. Extremely frustrating...

All unused free accounts are normally deleted after 30 days.

Since your account is blocked or deleted, you will not get any notifications.

If your Hotmail account is deleted you can change anything you want anywhere because Hotmail will no longer be.
