Unable to install programs on Linux

Hello, I am a newbie to Linux and i do not yet understand how to install source code onto my Ubuntu/Kubuntu Linux computers. Is there some program i use? Please Help

I suggest you try http://www.ubuntu.com/ for help.

The Linux method of adding programs is much different from just double clicking in Windows.

A Ubuntu specific forum is the best place to look for help.
