My laptop's Charger is crazyClosed

Question

Hello, 

My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite L305-S5933 and my problem is when I plug my charger my laptop begins to do things like...the screen will began to display one random color....also sometimes it automatically turn off then after a few seconds it will turn on by itself....what could be the problem? 

But when I was only using the battery of my laptop it works perfectly.....

The charger or the power circuit on the motherboard may be providing a higher voltage that is overloading the video card/motherboard. This could ultimately damage the motherboard.  There is no way to tell which is the problem without hands on access.  If you have a volt meter you can do a simple test for the voltage supplied by the charger.  You will probably need the services of a good PC tech.

Hmmm...thanks for the reply...but I think it all started when I updated my bios from 1.90 to 2.20.....
