Sandisk cruzer blade 8gb pen drive [Solved/Closed]

Dear sir,
My flash drive could format.
The srror message comes to on device media write protected and The disk write is protected.
Please help me.

I am using windows 7,
unfortunately it doesnt work,when i navigate to the path mentioned,i dont see storagedevicepolicies after control.
it shows only control/storage and white protection on the right pane.
Kindly help.

Hi,
I had the same problem.
What worked for me is,
I booted my computer in safe mode and goto run type diskmgmt.msc and right clik on the usb drive clik format..
