Installing xp mode on hp laptop..windows7

Hello,

I followed things mentioned for changing settings...
but i am unable to find SATA settings at all....
pls help me out

You will NOT find them on an HP laptop.

i want windows xp to installed by removing windows 7..

Search this forum for more help. You will need to modify the XP install disk to that it has the required drivers. Some people have said that Windows XP with SP3 (Service Pack 3) contains the proper drives.
