Installing xp in vista in sony nr110e laptop

Hello,
i have vista in my laptop, i tried to boot with the xp cd to install xp, but i got a error msg, "Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer". i tried to change bios but i did not find the sata in bios. it is sony ne110e modle laptop. please help me out.

Hi,

If the BIOS have not a option to change the SATA function to IDE, your only option is to modify the Windows XP install CD with updated SATA drivers that work with your motherboard.

You can find these kind of Windows Installation CD which include all your SATA drivers for your disk in a computer shop.
