Just pop in the O.S. installation disc, when you turn on your computer go to the boot menu (f12 or f8 cant remember) and select boot from cd option then you willl start the installation process which gives you the option to reformat your harddrive. What antivirus are you using, i use avg free myself and thats always been very good for me.
