Screen says no signal

Hello,
Please can someone help. Screen says no signal but fan running. I'd be grateful for any help thank you

i think . there is no connection between monitor and cpu so we get this message. check vj cable is loose or damage . chane other to check. thanks

Will check when home. It's on but fan constantly running loud like it can't quite boot ? I switched off on power button and it worked. Windows loaded but after shutting down it won't do it again ... Thanks ! Any more info would be great
