i dont kno wat kinda sound driver i have but i need one cuz i dont have anysound comin out my speaker

HI mookie,

ur sound card is: Intel Corporation:82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller . Normally in intel motherboard the sound card will be realtek only. I think u also have motherbord cd with you. SO try to install from ur sound drive through the motherboard cd itself in autorun mode or by doing the following steps:

1. right 'mycomputer' -> slect 'manage'
2. Now the computer management window opens.
3. in that on left side u can see 'device manager' option. slect it.
4. here u can see all the hardwares of ur system. in that check wether ur sound card is installed are not. If not right click 'Sound, video and game controller' and select the upgrade optiin to configure the sound drive.

Then it will works fine

I have a problem same moolie. The other prob. is, i don't know where did i put my motherboard's CD. In short, i lost it. What other action will i take to solve my problem?

Downloading the audio devce driver from the support website of the computer maker. Or of the MoBo maker if the computer is a no-brand one.
