Hello,

I have a very strange problem. I copied 3 files(mp3, avi and wmv files) into my USB stick from PC. They were working in my PC.
After they were copied, i tried opening these files. Only the wmv file plays fine. The other 2 files somehow get corrupted.
Also, whatever data i place within a folder would get converted "U¬U¬SDOS.5.0". please help me out.

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.5

Ok so this is the sign that you have got infected. The first thing to do is to get a good antivirus first of all download Avast U3!. It is especially designed for the flash disk's infections. You can go to the link http://www.avast.com/eng/avast-u3.html to get it.

If this does not work, try format your usb key and scan it twice. If no virus is detected, try to put the files on them once more.

Good Luck
