Network Controller driver????

Dear all

Due to a virus problem, I have had to install windows (xp) on my laptop but in device manager under other devices the following item has yellow question marks:-

network controller

As network controller driver is missing I can't connect to the internet to download drivers directly from internet, though i do have access to the internet via another pc.

Can somebody please help me get my laptop back on the internet?

Pls i cant browse with my laptop-latitude d600. if i ping it makes a noise and reply ith destination unreachable and in the device driver section the network controller has yellow question mark. what do i do. Help with the driver if possible. i got thesis and otherts tp fix soonest. thanks for the concern anyway.

Help - I have the same problem as Shannon had. My Model is Satelite M45 S331 System Unit and PSM40U 01R 001. I keep trying to download driver detective on my laptop that works so I can save on USB and then run on the Toshiba laptop (remote) that has no drivers installed.

I must be doing wrong thing. I can't find correct drivers to install and Driver Detective must be wrong thing. I can't find anything similiar to my model numbers...

Hi pmarie. i used thedriver detective but still the problem persists. i'm even having a problem with the bluetooth and the wireless lan.so all three are non functional at the moment. i really need the laptop to be fully operational as it does play an important role in my everyday life.

I finally had to call for support and was on the phone with someone from India for about 1.5 hours to fix everything for a cost of about $75. The service I used was IYogi

Just contact your computer provider example dell, mac etc... with your service tag number and express tag # on the bottom of each laptop.

They will tell you which driver is correct for you to download and they will also provide you with that driver for free.

Hi

I now have the same problem you seem to have had finding drivers for the D610.
Dell's system does not recognise the Service Tag I have printed under the comp: 60SMX1J and I have not been able to get online to get further.
Any chance you can point me in the right direction? I actually need all 6 drivers listed in Device Manager's "Other Devices" if you can help?

I am having the exact same issue as you w/ my Dell Latitude D610. All the Other Devices have yellow question marks next to them and I can not get on-line to fix the issue.

What can I do???

Hey Guys!

I have a similar problem.

I have a Zenith Director laptop. I installed windows xp. The harware setup shows that there is no "network controller" driver. Kindly help me identify the correct driver.

I understand that this is affecting my WI-FI connectivity. Correct me.

Install the Intel proset driver, (3rd one down under network>intel) to get the proper controller.

Hi there,

I have the same problem unfortunately :(, I have the new Inspiron 1525 Laptop by Dell, I managed to get the Ethernet controller so as long as the wire is plugged in, it works fine but I cannot connect it wireless because the network controller driver is not found :(.

Anybody knows where I can get it from?... Inspiron 1525 Network Controller

Shahnon I been looking for your laptops driver but couldn't find it, but have searched the Dell's site?

Have you managed to solve your Dell network controller trouble?
I got the same trouble and as from the forum list http://en.kioskea.net/forum/affich-5494-network-controller-d­river could not find the link to solution then thought to ask it directly from you.

Although I suspect that it might be a problem of Win XP :(

Sorry Shahnon,

You have a Toshiba Laptop, I may be able to help!... try to download the Ethernet Controller for it so you can connect the Ethernet cable to access the internet.

I have ordi laptop whit 1,25gb-2gb memory 256 integered sis mirag3 grafic card and dont need to tell aboud prosessor because friends sayd its good but i have broblem whit games even gta3 is slow and very and allmost all games are slow it cant be the computers fault plz help!!!!!
