I had the same problem with my wireless router (D-link). My son spent an hour on the phone with their tech support and couldn't find a resolution to the problem. Needless to say we went out and bought a new router given the frustration we were having with it dropping connection. If you haven't already done so, try a firmware update http://www.tech-faq.com/linksys-firmware.shtml to see if that resolves your problem. If it's beyond the warranty period and the firmware update doesn't resolve your problems, you may need to buy a new router.

Hi, the first answer is already helpful. Before getting a new router try disconnecting your computer from the router. Connect it directly to your modem. Observe your connection, if it still disconnects frequently, this means that the problem is your modem.
