Hello,

I use Asus Motherboard "P5ND2-SLI". Connected 1 HD, Graphic Card, Keyboard and Mouse.

I start the computer and it powers up for a few sec, then shots-down. Doesn't even get to the Bios setup. Nothing appears on the screen while this is happening. No beeping sounds notifying about errors.

I replaced the Graphic Card + the Monitor (LCD & CRT) without any change. Also removed both Memory Cards, and also tried with just 1 of them. Also removed the Battery (just in case) but nothing.

I think there's a problem with the MB, although it worked on the computer it was previously installed in.

Any suggestions?

Would appreciate your help...
Thanks

Tnx for the reply.
As I mentioned, I use the Graphic card I had and when that didn't work changed to another with same result.

By the way the symptom has changed :)
I removed the CPU and re-inserted it. Now the computer doesn't shut-down after a few seconds, but still no image and not reaching bios...

I'm starting to think there's a problem with the CPU itself - would the symptom I'm experience be cause by faulty CPU?
