Hello,

The ethernet problem with windows XP laptop. A couple of days
ago the ethernet connection dissapeared, so I can
not access the internet.

When I type:

>ipconfig /all

Windows IP Configuration

The system gives me just this single line
"Windows IP Configuration" and no any other information!

I do not understand much about networking and would really appreciate your help.

Thanks,
John

Configuration: Linux
Firefox 1.5.0.12

I tried this in november on my xp box because it took about 5 minutes or more after booting computer for it to establish a connection to my wireless provider. I think it was a power outage that caused this. This program asks you to make a backup before it tries to fix your connection so you can undo any changes if it doesn't work. It worked great and I haven't had any problems since.
