Broken hp laptop to expel monitor

function & f4 won't work. I used to be able to connect to an external monitor idk what happened it no longer works The screen stays black and all i see is my broken screen. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

Hello,

Try this 1.

Click on the below link and follow the instructions.

If the problem still exists then remove the RAM from the slot, clean it and place it

back properly or try another slot. Then connect the external monitor, turn ON

the monitor first and then turn ON your laptop.
