Hello,
My laptop has a virus I'm pretty sure. So I was going to reboot it to factory settings. When I hold the power button for 10 seconds, it turns off successfully. But when I turn it back on while holding the zero key, It doesn't beep and makes this weird line at the top and freezes there. I was wondering how can I reboot my laptop to factory settings if I can't do it the normal way? Oh and I also get BSOD a lot... Please help me! Thank you in advance.

hi there
if you have your recovery DVD you can boot into it format your computer and do a clean install. or you can always just remove the virus by doing a startup repair if needed, then removing the other infected file(s).
also it sounds like you recovery sector may be infected or corrupt.
