Webcam on mac msn 8 crashes my mac

i recently bought an imac, and downloaded msn 8 for it. for a little while it worked fine as a webcam, but now whenever i invite someone for a video call (which is the only webcam application on the newest msn versions) msn crashes and closes.
it works perfectly in any apple made programmes, like photobooth!
please help, thanks!

windows live for mac is no good when it comes to video chats.. i recommend you download amsn (should be the top link if you google it) the only downside to this is that it might not work unless the person you're using cam with has amsn as well.
