Hi,

No its not recommended better you purchase a new hard disk or remove the hard disk from external enclosure and out on motherboard and the old one to external hard disk which can also work as there is no hal check when connecting external devices.

Good luck

Hi,

Present hard disk on cpu is A and external hard disk is B. Open external enclosure and remove hard disk from it which is B,now remove A and fix in external enclosure and B in cpu .

Is this Fine for you?

Thanks
