Windows Setup fails

Hello, im trying to set Windows XP pro up on a computer.
Booting it from CD, when it finishes "setup is inspecting your computer's hardware configuration" is just goes to a blank screen.
I've tried every thing i know.. changed settings in BIOS and run the computer with only what it needs, I've tryied multiple cd's, cd roms... Help
setup is Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro2, 1 IDE hdd(C:) 2 SATA HDD(disconnected, Sata disabled in bios)

Configuration: Windows Vista
Firefox 3.0.4

I found out the problem.. The ATA HDD was broken. :þ
