Sound will not work on my hp laptop

Hello,
My sound will not work on my hp laptop. IT just randomly stopped workig, it says that its on mute and when i click on the volume button it troubleshoots but doent come up with anythig. Ive tried going to the device manager and trying to fix it and the sound doest even work with headphones. I'm completley lost what do i do?
