Hello,

I have a wireless linksys router connected to comcast.

I have two computers linked to this router through wireless. One is a laptop with factory installed wireless card and the other is a HP desktop connected with a linksys wireless card.

The connections for both computers to the router is fine and is never interrupted.

The desktop periodically can't connect to the internet (most of the time it can). you will be surfing the net and all of a sudden you will get a page can not be displayed and basically the internet just stops working (can't even get on google).

During this time that you can't connect to the internet (about 30 seconds) the laptop is always working fine. the two computers are next to each other and are receiving the same signal and getting the same internet through the same router. (desktop also drops internet connection when laptop is off so its not a fight over the signal).

is this a configuration problem? or is the wireless card in the desktop bad? help would be much appreciated.

(desktop running windows vista laptop running windows XP if that matters)
thanks, bryant
