Specific data from several sprd shts to one

Hello,

I need a way to find and import specific information from several sperad sheets into one.
Im new to, and self taught on excel.

Example;

file "personnel"
number name salary bill rate
0001 ura gambler 5.37$ per hr. 7.75 per hr
0002 gerry atrix 4.75$ per hr 8.75 per hr

file "Equipment"
number name description bill rate
tr-01 truck ford .45 per mile
tl-02 trailer 8x12 5$ per hour

file "material"
number name bill rate
asph asphalt 75$ per ton


file "job no 1"
personnel equipment material

I need to search each file listed for any number/s, and compile them in a report showing only the number and bill rate.
