error when installing Itunes 9.2Closed

Question

Hello, 
I get the following error when installing Itunes 9.2 on my HP windows 7 64bit laptop.
apple application support installation error
Could not open key:
UNKNOWN\Components\and a string of letters & numbers     Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact you support personnel.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it still displays this error.
I have disabled my antivirus ans am the administator on my standalone laptop.
I edited the registry to add full control and edit rights to all recommended folders.
Please help!

i am trying to download itunes. I am running laptop vista it keeps saying administrator not allowing this application!!!
