SATA HARD DISK NOT DETECTED

hi frnds,

I am having an old system of 40 GB hard disk (IDE) ,

I want to add 80 GB (SATA) hard disk , i bought the bilateral

convertor to connect, i have connected everything and now the

sata hard disk is not detected what i have to do ..........


can any one help me ..........

jenarly ps to sata converter not work properly . we face this problem many times in our lab . we can purchase pata hdd in market but price is little more sata.
