ITunes - Unable to connect to iTunes Store

iTunes U appeared correctly, but I still couldn't access the store properly afterwards...

It worked well done the only solution that has worked

It worked for the itunes U, but then it wouldnt load the other tabs.
UGH!

This worked for me, BUT I had to add a small step. Once I'd gotten to iTunes U and then re-changed my preferences, I was STILL locked out from the iTunes store. But then I did the same steps and rather than click a link to the store, I typed in a band (any band on itunes) in the search field. Presto! Thank you so much for posting this tip.

i've checked the Parental Ctrl tab but none of the boxes are ticked. So the tip didn't for me =(
