Problem with lcd monitor

Hey there,
I have got somewhat a rare problem with my lcd monitor I can see that the liquid inside is leaking, well anyone has an idea of what caused this and how can I make things alright for my lcd screen?
Do I have to change it and get a new one?

Configuration: Windows Vista
Firefox 3.0.4
