Hello,

What speed (how many RPM) does a CD or DVD spin at ? (I have a customer who used SCOTCH TAPE and PAPER to label a CD disc). Besides the fact it could come loose and jam there is also the tolerance (thickness of the CD) factor.

Thank you.
Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

From 4000 to 10,000 rpm.

As of 2004, the fastest transfer rate commonly available is about 52x or 10,350 rpm
