Have U installed any new firewall software lately? If U have I suggest U check if Ares is granted access to the internet. Most firewall software informs U if an application wants access to the internet (which U can give the application access with a click or two) but if U haven't been informed I suggest U take a look around in your firewall's settings.
I have another suggestion. Go to the site where U downloaded it from and C if the site has any Q&A's or FAQ's that might help. One last thing, if U can't fix the problem give Limewire or Frostwire a try. They R both freeware and U can download them at Cnet's www.download.com..............Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!
