Hey..
i have got everything you need for gta4 but when I start it up it shows the rockstar game logo and shows the name of the game.
but then is stops and I get that error report thing..
sorry im not realy good a computers.
do you think you can help me??

Your Processor Is Fine-Okay. It will Run GTA4. The Ram is Enough. Your Graphics Card is Fine but here are the Specifications for GTA4. you can then see what I mean.

dude! Ain that pc a bit out dated???? Your pc wont even be able to play most of these Modern Games. Build a new pc (its cheaper that way) ..Shouldnt really Cost much, Here are the GTA4 Requirements and then you can build your pc to those specifications or buid a faster one, your choice :-)

Look I don't know wath are you talking about I have proc p4 3.2HT @ 3.8 ram 3.5 gb becouse the 32xbit versions of OS don't acsept more ram then 3.6 GB, graphic Ati sapphire radeon HD 4350 2x512-1GB 600mhz and 600watt coller master and 24"samsung lcd 7.1 sround and I can play the game at the maximum graphic and resolution btw I have winxp pro sp3 so I think that is unnecesery quad core or "16gb of ram" yeah right you just need more than 2gb of ram 3GB or more and good graphic what had pixsel shader 4.1 DirectX 10 or 11 suppord and more than the 512mb. PS. about lag, that is the problem of gta becouse I had somtimes lag problems with gta 4 but with gta SA so I think that it isn't about PC that is becouse game BY
if u installed evrey thing for the game u can play but bit slow bc I can play with XP 1GB ram 1TB HD and 256 mb video card :) directx 10.1

first I thoght that its gona lagggyy as helll..
so I just install and the game just run smooth..

but still I have to play gta 4 in lowest possible configuration and still it does'nt give me good fps

Graphis card = 1 gb 9600 gt nvidea
Hard disk= 16 tb
Operating system= Gaming seven

I'm getting an e8400 (not oc'ing it) and HD4870 1gb; add that to my ddr2 800 2gig OCZ ram, 550PSU and 32bitXP(sp3), is it enough? Or an oc of 3.6-3.9 necessary? Or is quadcore essential?

ye around $2500 4 a alienware
i had just windows vista no service pack now I have serivice pack 2 but I hardly see a difference
about 1-2 fps increase from none to 2 so...

on the benchmark the game at high settings shows 34 fps and when I play it and use a car on every turn the game lags.. whats the problem? Oh well I started to lower the resolution the settings the texture and rednering quality and guess what NOTHING... I finished with low settings 800x600 resouliton with low texture and rendering and with 5 on distances etc... nad again SAME... Lags when I turn my car left or right...
Can someone tell me whats the problem and how can I solve it???
