Whenever I use Search companion, my desktop freezes if I try to stop it or try to close it.
I am using XP Pro dualcore cpu and 4gb RAM DDR2.
What is the cause and how can I get rid of the problem? Kindly advise. Thanks.<gras>

Dear VRS,

Please check whether you need to upgrade your RAM memory or still whether your hard disk is not too bulky and if you need to delete some files and unused applications.

Thank you.

Thank you for the tip. Actually I have 4GB DDR2 RAM on my machine of which
barely 500 mb is used (Task master report). My system has 40 GB partition for
system and another 110 GB for other usage. The problem sometimes - repeat
sometimes - I am able to close the search companion without any problem.
Stopping in the midst of search freezes the desktop everytime and closing at the
end of search freezes more often than not. Any other suggestions are welcome.
Thanks again.
