BIOS trouble . . .

Hello,

So here's my problem, recently bought a used motherboard and put it into my pc. Everything was working great until i decided i would try to update my BIOS (Something I've never done before . . .). Needless to say it didn't go as i had planned. Attempted the update restarted my pc and got black screen of death XD the pc's power was running fans spinning etc. but nothing on the monitor just the yellow light. Did some looking around on the net figured was a bad BIOS flash (didn't even know this could happen, should have read about updating BIOS before i tried it QQ). Anyway so I bought a new BIOS chip for my mobo (Asus M2N-E) that was pre-flashed with BIOS 3001. Just got the chip today put it in and still the black screen, any suggestions on how i can fix this? Any help is very much appreciated, thank you.
