Hey there,
I have my cpu running very strangely at 500mhz. I have a core 2 duo e4500 supossed to run at 2.20ghz but then why at only 500mhz? I have tried to set the cpu configuration manually to 2200mhz but this neither doesn’t work any clues ?

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello,
I have only one option in head which I can advice you is to take out the cpu from the socket and then reputting it back this could restore the stock settings and must surely be ok after.

Check power options in Control panel. Make sure Power Scheme is set to Home/Office Desk. Otherwise, the system thinks you want to run on minimum power and that will slow the CPU down. Let me know
