Error while loading XP in boot setup

Hello,Hello,
i hav a dell vostro 1500 laptop it was shipped to me with win XP sp2 os but i removed it and installed XP professional and it is running successfully but now wen i want to install my XP sp2 os it shows an error in the setup blue screen ,the error msg is as follows "File pci.sys caused an error (1024) at line 5964 in d:\xpsprtm\setup.c"so plz help me

Configuration: windows XP sp2,internet explorer 7.0,intel core 2 duo

Hey buddy,

either you install the professional one or else you put the sp2 but it all depends what version of the professional you have. just make sure that the version of windows you have installed isnt new compared to the sp2
