DHCP doesn't change my ip when I want to

Hello, I realized that my IP doesn't change in a DHCP Connection Type. I want to change it as I please, whenever I want.

My router is WRT54G v8 and upgraded to v8.00.7 and I'm on Windows XP.

I would take some screenshots to the Router 192.168.1.1 Setup if you want me to.

Sorry for my grammar, I'm not English.

P.S: yes, I went to http://192.168.1.1 --> Status -> DHCP Realease first and then DHCP Renew but it doesn't work!!
