Hello,

my cpu was constantly being overheated and sometimes shut down by itself. before i didnt realise that it was the fan which was doing that but then i changed it and now i can notice that the cpu is a little slow.

do you think its the fan which could have damaged the cpu for it to be working slow?

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0

The over heating has probably damage something in the processor and that is why it is being slow the cpu but nevertheless just try to do a complete format with the computer and see what it does
