Want to save my pics and tunes on my ipod

Hello,
My computer crashed and i lost everything. My pics, my music etc...
I have been told that if i plug in my ipod now to put more music, it will delete all my pics and music i already have in the ipod. Is that true? and what can i do to save my pics and tunes on my ipod.

Yes it wiull erase you ipod when it next syncs with itunes on the restored computer. You can try this free alternative program:
