Hello, I am questioning a problem that has been occuring off and on for months now. The internet seems to be connected and then it goes off and gives an IP Address Conflict. We have contacted our DSL carrier, replaced router box, went through all the usual resetting IP addresses and it will come up and work for sometimes hours sometimes minutes and then it shuts off and says the IP addrss conflict. We have a camera security system and one desk top and one lap top. The phone company came out and checked, redid the wiring and soon as they left the internet lasted 30 minutes and went back off. It says there is a signal and internet is conncected but we cannot surf the web at all. Anyone please give some advice.

Hi there,

If you manually configured ip address on your computers, recheck them and be sure that two system do nat have same ip assigned manually,if so then change one of them assigning a different address not yet assigned to any system.

Thanks
