Screen Goes black

Hello,
I have a toshiba Satellite. The screen will unexpectedly go black at random times.I have to unplug the power cord and take out the battery then turn it back on.Is there anything i can do to remedy this.

card is not faulty. Please confirm the issue for further

help.
