Hello,
I am trying to do some basic data entry using a scanner. I need to scan in over a thousand indiviudal components and I want to simply work straight down a colum. What I'm looking for is something that will automatically move to the next cell down after I scan in a barcode (typically letters and numbers). Can someone help me with a macro that will do this.

I think the logic is if the cell equals >1 character move to the next cell down. But I don't know how to write that.

Any help?

thanks

Steve

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0
