The short answer is No.
Just like you could not go to the 64bit vista if your laptop was installed with Vista 32bit plus the fact you need a 64bit processor,
Unless you buy a new licence for the 32bit version.
I cant understand why you would buy a laptop with vista 64bit at the moment unless you had some software that would benefit from it, but joe public would be well advised for now anyway to stick with the 32bit.
