Well, I just bought a new charger today since my other one broke about 3 months ago, and I charged the battery and so I took it out as to not overcharge it. But I forgot that my laptop was still turned on. So, it turned off, then I plugged in the charger (with the battery out of the laptop). It turned on, went to the 'Safe Mode' screen telling me that Windows didn't shut down properly. So I went to Safe Mode and tried to start it up again. I logged and then all I got was a black screen with just the mouse... and that's what I keep getting. I've tried going to safe mode and then shutting it off properly at the log in screen, but still the same black screen. Please, if anyone can give me some assistance I'd be very grateful.

Oh and if it's any help at all, I'm using a HP G60.

Always Laptops will go to Safe mode when it has low power. Once remove the battary and keep place it again and connect to Power. wait 2-3 mnts to charge. Then Switch on ur Laptop. While Starting of Windows u will find option Safe Mode or Normal Mode. then click on Normal mode.

And other option is press the Short cut key on ur laptop for Safe Mode
