I can't install XP OS fomatting the Ubuntu

Hello,
I had already XP OS in my pc.Now i am using Ubuntu without XP OS.Now I want to install again XP OS to my pc.i try several times to install xp but when i put the xp cd to cd rom it booted.the case is there is no blue screen coming.place give me a solution for this.
