HELp me pls fast!

Hello,

i need help can u tell me how to install windoes XP pro on my laptop i have a Sony Viao i do it this way put in the cd open the laptop it starts the instalattion but then it gives this blue screen saying ur computer has been shut down ... and stuff so it doesnt let me install it that way so can someone tell me a good way to install it pls?fast?

PS:IAM WRITING THIS FROM MY COMP CUASE MY LAPTOP HAS NO INTERNET CURRENTLY
