Sceen and mouse virus help...

Hello all, i`ve posted this question on a couple of other useless forums with absolutly no answers, please help.

i own a hp laptop running XP HOME,

Every time i turn my comp on it goes to the hp graffic with the cursor, i can move the cursor but nothing else, just stays on that screen no matter what i do...i`ve tried safe mode, last known that worked ect and still get the same outcome...hp graffic with movable cursor

i have also tried holding down shift until it beeps but nothing pops up...

I`m preety sure its a virus that i`ve picked up!!! is there any way to get rid of it and make the laptop work again without having to reinstall and lose everything?


can anyone help please?

Dear Sir,

In order to fix this problem please format your PC

and reinstall your operating system. Keep in mind

though that you will lose all your files stored on

your PC.
